The Orange Run Benefits The Breathing Room Foundation

The Orange Run is a yearly event organized by the employees of ifm efector. Our goal is to bring awareness to cancer and raise funds to support local families fighting cancer. All proceeds will benefit the Breathing Room Foundation.

The Breathing Room Foundation is best characterized as neighbors helping neighbors impacted by cancer. Established in 1997, the Breathing Room Foundation has grown from supporting seven families the first year to well over 500 families annually. The social workers from area hospitals and cancer treatment centers rely on the BRF for support and assistance.

• BRF recipients were being treated for 43 types of cancer with the most prevalent being Breast, Lung, Leukemia / Lymphoma, Cervical / Uterine / Vaginal / Endometrial and Colon / Rectal
• Clients reside in Philadelphia, Montgomery, Bucks and Delaware counties

In 2016, we donated over $17,000 to the Breathing Room. We are very grateful to all those who generously donated and helped us reach our goal. We are hoping to increase this amount this year so that we can help even more families affected by cancer.
